I have a 1984 boat with what I think is a 1981 70HP Johnson - SN: J70TLCCA. The bottom carb bowl as well as the exhaust housing are resting on the motor housing as if the whole power-head has moved downward. Most of my experience is with cars and I would describe this as if the motor mounts have collapsed but I don't see how this could be the cause here when I inspect it. Can anyone shed some light on this and suggest a correction?
