GOING DOWN THE LAKE MY MOTOR JUST QUIT,AFTER RESTARTING IT WOULD ONLY GET UP TO 2000 RPM'S<br />IN GEAR,BUT IT WILL GO TO 5200 RPM'S IN NEUTRAL.???

It sounds like it dropped one or two cylinders. It may be a bad switchbox,coil or fouled plug.<br />Run a compression test first.<br />If compression is good,replace plugs second.<br /><br />If that doesn't cure it, you will have to troubleshoot the ignition system,switching coils to see if the dead cylinder moves,and such.
