from pictures I found online I have a 1980 9.9 Seaking by chrysler outboard. I replaced the condensors and everything checks out. some of my ohmage readings are a little low but other than that I cleaned points and everything else checks out, yet I still have no spark. my kill switch is bad so i disconnected the brown kill switch wires in the magnito, still no spark. I have done hours of research and tried everything possible. What am I missing? (I can post pictures if need be)

Try connecting the kill leads together?
Some times the points need filed down, sanding might not be enough.

Okay I will pick up a points file today. Everything under the flywheel has rust or corrosion. The metal around the coils used to be rusty but I cleaned them off. Do you mean tie the kill switch end together with them connected in the magneto? Or vice versa?

Take everything off and clean out the rust.
You might need to replace everything under the flywheel :(

Oh man okay, even if everything checks out using impedance on a multimeter? Should I replace everything with a low reading even if it still reads?
