I spent several hours yesterday and today giving the boat a long overdue top to bottom wash and wax. Its amazing what 10 hours of hard work, a coat of compound, a coat of finish restorer, and a coat of wax will do. 
Before the pics, here is a little info on the boat:
- 1980 Glassmaster 850E (if anyone knows the actual model please LMK)
- Been in my family since 1983 or 1984
- All original interior vinyl except for sundeck which was redone about 15 years ago
- Rebuilt front seat frames and bases
- 305ci Chevy V-8 originally 2 barrel 198hp but now has a Weiand intake and Edelbrock 600 4 barrel
- Thru hull exhaust (the original manifolds finally gave it up so I couldn't resist)
- Plans call for a 350 in the next year or two
I'm planning on installing the 1" stripe along the bottom blue-white transition like it had from the factory as well as replace the pin stripe that is supposed to run all the way around the edge just below the top of the sides.
