1980 glasply dash switches problem

I have a 1980 21' glasply the navagation lite switch on the steering dash will not lock on when pushed in does anyone know of replacements

There are no boat parts listings so unless you show us a picture of the switch we can't tell what you have. There are a multitude of switches that can be used for this purpose but we need to know whether you have a rocker switch, toggle switch, push-pull, etc.

These switches do not look like marine quality items and there is an abundance of similar types in the electronics market. I would suggest that you make a trip to the nearest military surplus/electronic surplus store. They often have a selection of push button and rocker switches in this form factor. Also do a Google/Yahoo search on "switch manufacturers". Once you find a switch that meets your needs, note the part number(s) and then do a search for brand "xxxxxx switch ########". You might also try Great Lakes Skipper (greatlakesskipper.com). They have a good selection of switches and entire switch panels.

In about a 30 second search I found these. Not exactly like yours but then you are not likely to find and identical match.
