Matthew, other than all of the rust and corrosion, that starter looks identical to the one I have here right down to the mercruiser tag. How many teeth are on the gear ? You can have this one if you pay shipping (probably $15-20). Email me if interested.

Anybody Mention That One Bolt Is Metric And One Is Standard 3/8 With A 9/16 Head. I Have A 86 Century With That 260 And Bad Starter Still Have Not Gotten Bolts Out Although The Mirror Thing Seems To Help See What Your Doing But It Is A Tight Space And Hard To Get Leverage. Does Your Starter Bolts Have Really Long Heads On Them?
