So my buddy was moving and needed to sell his boat for cash so without knowing anything i bought it. Ive been out on it a few times the last time we went out to the kelp beds and got in the kelp a few times. On the eay back boat wouldnt go full speed just kind of trollin speed. So i knew i had to do something to fix it. Got it hm and the deck was kinda crapy so started taken it out. Noticed water in the hull wet wood i think some rot and a bad fiber glass job. Where do i start first?

Welcome to the dry dock! I'll put a link to Woodonglass's revised decks, stringers and transoms below, good reading and says how to remove the deck (see post 622). Make sure you have your personal protection equipment. Where you really need to start is get some pics up. Best way is to get a free photobucket account, upload there, copy the IMG link and post it into your text.

Happy birthday Robert! You got something accomplished; decided to pull the cap and got what you need to build the cradle. A lot of people here try to do a little each day and before you know it it's done. Good pictures BTW.
