1979 evinrude 100 won't reach full rpm's

Engine ran great up until recently. Starts fine, idles fine. At WOT it barely planes off once it's warmed up. Water seems to be circulating ok. Any ideas would be appreciated.

First do a compression test on it. If that's okay do a cylinder drop test on it.

Did the compression test-all 4 at 90+ and all about the same. Gonna do a drop test next. Will be back
