1979 Evinrude 100 HP Lower Unit Oil

Last fall when I drained the lower unit on my 1979 Evinrude 100 HP outboard motor the oil was a milky-cream color. Is this normal or does it mean that water is getting into it?

Have the g/c pressure and vacuumed checked and it will take all of the guess work out of it is to where it's leaking. It could be as simple as the drain plug gaskets.
