I had my boat at the lake earlier. I was running it and it seemed a little sluggish. When I would be at a wake and go to full throttle it seemed to bog down a bit. Then when it made it up to plane and running ar WOT it had a small miss in it. I pulled off the cowl and ran it like that. With it off I can go from a wake to WOT fast. Almost no hesitation and when running at WOT it didn't seem to have that small miss in it. Could it be the cowl gasket or maybe is it not getting enough oxygen? Would not getting enough air make it run lean too? Allot want to just leave the cowl off and run it like that. Thanks in advance for the input.
