well if you decide to abandon ship let me nkow the condiion and number the number of the good piston if you want to sell it. I believe I have Hi dome pistons several numbers here 768 433A3 / 776 - 8896A 3 / 774 9137A - 12 . Like you say everyone wants top dollar for old used parts View attachment 168384

I have decided this powerhead (or at least the internals, crank/rods/piston) is a total loss and I'll be looking for a replacement powerhead. I am not sure my "good" piston is all that good, I'll snap some pics and if you want it (or probably any part of my crankcase internals) you can have for the cost of shipping.

After taking a good look, there is nothing on the internals that I would use, sell or give away for a rebuild.
