I have a 1978 70 HP JOHNSON that seems to be hitting on only two cylinders. I had it on the water and it eventually started firing on all three cylinders and ran out great on the way back to the dock. After docking it I cleaned the carbs, put 93 octane in, and changed the plugs just in case one was fouled. This time out it started and idled fine but when it went in gear and I pushed it past a fast idle it would bog down and die. Any ideas what could be causing the problem. Another thing that I noticed was the lever that adjust the idle was working but doesn't seem to be working now. Any Help would be greatly appreciated
