Well I guess there's more than one way to skin a boat 😆
I can't imagine the pain of trying to strip and then the painting process with the interior work nearly done. My hats off to you for getting it done without being committed to an asylum!

Thanks! It is definitely not ideal. Lots of citri-strip and plastic drop cloths so it doesnt dry up before it has a chance to work. Had I known I was going to have to strip it I would have done it when the hull was empty and just flipped it, but I was just going to touch up a few spots at that time.

I did take it to the closest gas station today that has ethanol free fuel and came back home to hopefully get it to run on the muffs. I was expecting disappointed and frustration because I only had it running once last year on the stand and before that who knows the last time it ran. The boats last registration number was from 2015. To my surprise it fired up on the second try. I let it sit a while and then tried again, just to make sure, and it came to life as soon as I turned the key. I am a happy camper!

I also got the ladder mounted today, but I forgot to get a picture of that.

Lookin real good out in the summer sun, super clean lines.

Those old V4 Johnnys are good motors albeit a little thirsty for the expensive juice.

Got the bimini that came put together and installed today. Also got my cheap DIY snap in carpet done. Way nicer on the bare feet, especially for the kids, and I can take it out later in the season when it would take forever to dry if it got wet.
