I had my outboard at the sop for lower unit issues (clutchdog) and when they were testing it after install they discovered my Carbs were out of sync. The synced them and when i took it out I am using ALOT more gas, I ran it about 1 hour maybe and used 5 gallons of gas. The first time it seemed to run alot faster but the second time it didnt seem to have any power and went through 5 gallons fast. I know alittle about motors but not outboards. Is there an adjustment i can make (like the air/fuel mixture screw) or should i just take it back to the repair shop and have them look at it? 1 more thing i noticed was residual fuel under the cover and in all over the under cover area.

There are no adjustments for fuel/air on your engine. If there is gas on the inside of the cowling, that may be why you are using so much (leaking fuel). If you don't see any fuel leaks, take it back and have the shop repair it properly.
