I had my boat out last weekend....I took the cowling off just while the motor was running while in a cove. The top carb was leaking a good bit, what I mean "good bit" is a fast constant drip. I know they can drip some times.....but I don't think it should ever be this consistant. The motor runs flawless....I guess my question is should I get the carbs rebuilt or is there something semi-easy I can do to tighten up so there isn't any flowing out. I am just trying to get my ducks in a row on what I should tackle tonight when looking at it. Thanks

Take the top carb cover off and inspect the float for deterioration or cracking. If you find it, replace the float. Inspect the spring on top of the float. If it is missing or broken, replace the float. Inspect the inlet needle and seat. If the float is good, you likely need a new seat and inlet needle.
