1977 ranger bass boat console

Just bought a 1977 ranger boat and the previous owner had labeled they knobs on console. He labeled one of them "FUEL" I can't figure out what it is for? It doresnt have duel tanks so I'm at a loss. Any help would be appreciated

Welcome to iboats.

Maybe it turns on the fuel gauge. Why not get a multi meter and start tracing wires

Maybe an electric fuel pump rather than repair the one on the engine. I would sure find out where it went.
