1977 Mercury 850 Reverse Lock

I have a 1977 Mercury 850 it has tilt trim. Do I need the reverse lock cam in my
lower unit or can it be remove it? I also have the old style trim pump and I have
a bad hose does any one knows who sells these hoses? Thanks for any help Ace

If you have power trim, you do not need the reverse tilt lock. The crowleymarine web sits stocks the hoses. About $70 each. You may need to look up the hoses on the '77 Merc 150HP motor listing. I did not see a model of the '77 850 that came with PTT.

I have a 1975 850 sitting here with T/T. The pump unit is deck mounted and the cylinders are mounted on the outside of the transom mount.
Could have been an add on option but it is Mercury I think.

James, What you have is Mercury. I couldn't find a model that 850 of that year that came with PTT. So your unit could have been an option, added later or canibalized from another Merc.
