Obviously, first you need to remove the prop and thrust washer. Then four bolts within the bearing housing need to be removed. Then you need a puller to remove the housing. I'm sure you can find a special tool for this if you look around. However, a couple of lengths of 5/16-18 threaded rod and a metal plate with a couple of holes or even a steering wheel puller will work nicely. Often a considerable amount of heat from a propane torch is needed to free up the housing. Just take your time, get it good and hot and it will eventually slide out. I hope this helps.
