This is an odd one

Water in a relay in the ignition circuit?
Hmmm....Maybee water under the flywheel ,arcing the stator over?
U got me. Something is arcing over, and probably on the high voltage end of things, like coils.

------------------
"Honey, have you seen my boat keys? Honey? Where are you?"

well, replaced switchbox, same result, But what is odd is if you remove the ground from the plate which the switchbox mounts to engine runs fine, when you ground the mounting plate as it should normally be, it kills the engine. So WHy is when it is properly wired engine wont fire, remove ground and it runs OK, at least on ears, but cannot turn off with key, Circuit for key tests OK, did claen the big red plug also, So new switchbox, new coils. I guess this leaves stator???

Any idea on what readings should see at sensor leads comming from stator?
