There would be three capped off wires somewhere....pretty sure you do not have one.

That’s my thinking as well.

Did find out the 15 hp I have in the shed used all the same parts numbers. That might be worth swapping over to the 35

I looked up your exact motor. Rectifier & terminal strip are STANDARD parts.
$ 58 and $ 11. Still available.

The rectifier and bar are not the expensive parts. It’s the charging coil. Look at those prices
