And basically rebuilt the dash. It's covered in an great orange glitter vinyl. The steering wheel is covered in a white nylon twine.
Not the best pics but better ones coming.
Does anyone happen to know the size of the cupholder holes in the dash? My buddy covered them and the boat is about 30 miles awaym but I need to get new ones.
love the holiday . I just sold my 23 ft Holiday last winter, great boat with a 200 Johnson on the back. Big water boat I prefer the closed bow on a boat I. v seen to many swamp with a open bow and rough water ond misuse by owners. Enjoy you have a nice boat there. Pugetsound
SKEW!! Great saying.. HA! Get out this weekend and use that bad boy.. It looks like a clean little boat for sure... Used yes, faded yes.. But PFFFT.. big deal.
Oh quick question: What would you all recommend I can use to wax the (mainly front/top/gunwales of the) boat? I'd like to maybe use a compound if possible to bring back/out/up the color then a wax to shine it up? I don't want to even consider repainting at this point. Plus the color is dead-on awful 70's and I love it.
NuFinish, in an orange bottle, was recommended to me by the best auto paint guy i know, and i love it for my cars and motorcycles. it literally does bring back badly faded paint. if it's faded to the point of chalky, might want to do fine rubbing compound first.
New Pics of interior. Dash (and center of wheel) has bee theme accents (I'm a beekeeper), the new back flap covering the gas tanks and you can see the brassy (CLASSY) cup holders!
Going to try to get it out on the water this weekend if the weather cooperates. My buddies really worked the engine up a bit. Carb rebuilds, plugs, etc....runs nice now. More pics to follow.
