Normal....I did a 1977 35hp today. Not enough water to dissipate the 2 stroke oil.

in 2 strokes when the dirty exhaust is pushed out the cylinders by the incoming load of fresh fuel-oil mix from the carb part of the fuel oil mix also passes out the exhaust ports and ends up with the fumes, carbon and sludge down towards the open world. In this case... your water barrel with it's "limited dispersion abilities". ... on the lake it does not look so bad :)
but we all know they are dirty engines.

California knows best....no more leaf blowers, lawn mowers , chainsaws :-(
next will be cow farts

Don't forget no more natural gas stoves, furnaces and hot water heaters.
