1977 75hp Evinrude

I just bought a freshly rebuilt , top to bottom, evinrude 75 hp. i pretty excited....Im alittle concerned on proper break in. I was told to DOUBLE the oil mix for first 12 gallons of gas? is that enough break in?

I always used double oil for the first 2 tanks and varried the RPM's. Might not have been necessary, but it always worked for me.
