i have a 1976 ted williams by eska that will start and run no problem but when you put it in gear it dies every time. let it run for 5 min purred like a kitten put it in rev. dead! any ideas?
sounds like a fuel problem. I would check the idle setting and the fuel pump bladder/element and it may be out of time to the slow side....many are which will cause poor idle, has anyone ever moved or removed the stator?
