1976 MonArk Marine McFast 5 Live Wells help

I am doing some work, and undoing someones work and this boat has two live wells, the both have 1-1/4" inlets that are wide open and 3/4" lines that are a little higher up, The one up front both lines have plugs in them, the back one the 1-1/4" is open and the 3/4" line is open and is higher in the live well but on the stern they both sit below the waterline in the back of the hull, Both tanks have one more 3/4" line at the very bottom for a drain. In the end should I just cap these or are they useful when fishing.

Any help would be great.
