I don't really see any of the typical indicators of a Reed Valve problem.
• Hard starting
• Erratic idling
• Unburned fuel spitting back out of the carburetor
Pulled the fuel pump for the 3rd time. Rebuilt it 100% correctly. No Luck! Motor dies between 2 - 3 min every time. Sucks because is starts with one pull and runs beautifully. Any other suggestions out there???
if it worked with gravity feed ! the pump is not doing its job cyl comp. does not concern the fuel pump it runs on crankcase pressure build up when the piston downstrokes. Do the flow test suggested above fill the bowl.... pull the carb inlet hose..... and run 2-3 minutes ... measure fuel volume pumped out report quantity produced by the test
