1976 evinrude 35hp

Hi there. Can someone please tell me where they route the tell tale on the newer 35 - i want to install one on an older 35. Thanks!

Some guys will tap into the t-stat cover, my `75 is tapped into the exh cover.I think on the `77 up they have it tapped in the top left of the block between the head and exh cover.
Go to Evinrude .com and look at the parts breakdown it should show the tell-tale.. the pics are from my `75
