Help please!
I have a 25hp Johnson that has a 5/16 fuel line that I have to replace. The only replacement fuel line I can find is 3/8, can I use that line? Will it affect performance or damage the motor?
THANKS

You can go to any auto parts house ( NAPA, AutoZone ; etc.) and they should have in any length you need.

The length is not the issue, its the diameter of the fuel line that im concerned with. The manfacturer says a 5/16 fuel line, but friends have told me that the 3/8 will work just fine. I just dont want to hurt the motor! Im no motorhead, so it is over my head.

Thanks,
I am also having some trouble with the quick connectors not seeming to hook up well. The leak a little gas by, I can keep the bulb primed for roughly 3 to 4 minutes but then its soft again. Any suggestions as to the best connectors? I plan to replace them, is that needed?

The bulb does not stay pumped up. It is only to get gas up to the carb to fill up the bowl so it starts. It is not a pressurized system.
The o-rings can be replaced on the connectors.

Yea, I would either replace the o-rings or if it's a big pain, just replace the connector.
