Hi-<br /><br />My starter has gone bad...I think. When I turn the ignition the starter motor turns and the gear goes up into the flywheel. Once the starter gear has gone into the flywheel the starter turns the shaft but it does not turn the gear. I can see the shaft spinning inside the starter gear. Also, the gear does not fall back down into place after it is turned off. I used WD40 and the gear still doesn't go down. Its like that bolt under the gear gets stuck or is stripped. Is there a kit to fix this or do I need a whole new starter?
