i need a coil for a 1974 ted williams 7.5 hp motor the model # is 217-5949-1 can anyone help

Hey duck hunters21 when your coil went bad did you get no low rpm"idle and no high rpm only crapy missing mid range cause that is what my 1974 ted williams 7.5 does now ???
