I have an 1974 15hp model # 155HA can you tell me if it has an thermostat and if so where? I can not find one like on my Johnson 5.5 hp motor. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: 1974 chrysler 15 hp

I have an after market parts manual that doesnt list a thermostat for the 15.Not conclusive evidence but I think a thermostat would be obvious
on the power head somewhere.

My Clymer does not show one either. Clymer starts on 35HP and larger with thermostats

I did not see one there so I am guessing that it does not have one. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Do you know where I can find a top for my 15 hp my son didn't latch it right and it flew off somewhere between our storage and the lake. We went back too look but it was gone.So if anyone knows where I can find one in Wisconsin or any other state that would be great. Thank you.

Valley sales in Prudenville,Mi
He'd have any old parts you might need.
Call him e-mails set.
The parts lists I've found don't list a thermo for any Chryslers under 20hp??
Not saying there isin't?? Ask at Valley this giy knows his older outboards??
