Can a 1974 evinrude 85hp tilt and trim hook up and work on 1976 evinrude 85hp moter. Model number are 1974 (85493b) 1976 (85el76b) thank you guys for your comments and help.

It should, unless there is some little "gotcha" that I'm not aware of.

Should. Believe '73 thru '76 are interchangeable. (Pics would help ...)
