1973 winner flooring question

I am looking at purchasing a Winner boat. The floor needs to be replaced and below the floor is red plastic bottles. What are these ..the owner does not know. Thanks,

I replaced the floor in my brothers 1973 cougar. The plastic bottles are part of the positive flotation system. You should find more laminated under the front deck if it is a closed bow model. They add flotation without weight, Try not to puncture them with screws( Ifound several of them with screw holes from the factory. I repaired them then replaced the floor sections. The cool part is the factory installed the floor in three sections over the grillage system, so I had patterns to make the new pieces from. I hope this helps
