Ebay, salvage yards and craigslist.

No NOS parts suppliers like for vintage cars.

For a windshield, you just need to find 1 that fits. Millions were sold, on lots of different brands, that should fit...

Find a derelict fiberglass boat for $1-200 and strip it of all the parts you need then take the bare hull to the landfill or give it away. Even free w a rolling trailer, old stripped glass boats can be hard to give away.

Specifically what other parts?

Welcome to iboats

:welcome: aboard twels,

You'd have an bit easier time asking about finding bigfoot or some hens teeth laying around.

When you get a chance post some pics of your Holly. Also check out the Starcraft section of the forum for many ideas and see the restorations.

Jbcurt00, Thanks I will check. I was looking at replacing the bow light and trim but want to keep it original if possible.

Watermann, I will post pics once I get her looking good! Big foot might be easier to find, but I must continue the quest! Thanks

Pix along the way are GREAT too......

We've likely seen worse, bo matter how horrific it was when you found it/drug it home. 6ft+ trees bigger around then a soda can doesnt even make the top ten of ugly.....

Pix are expected as payment of your Starcraft (really any boat.......) membership dues. So snap some pix of she is now, and post 'em plus any you took as found or when you got it home.

We dig barn finds just as much as perfect, unrestored or fulpy rehabbed boats. Many of us had boats most would consider derelict and nearly (past?) ready for the scrap heap, dump or recycling yard.

Dont underestimate the value of the before pix for you and those thay follow us thru this madness known as boat rehab.

Does it have a bow/stern light now? If so, you can probably pull 1 or the other and look for a makers mark or brand name stamped on the underside. If the stern light is Perko/Nautiloy (or whoever) ts likely the bow is too. Then to ebay......

You might find someone to re-plate a light that's a little rough, but expect it to be north of 3bills.... Not cheap. Someone on ebay is selling repops of vintage style lights, pretty reasonable for a vintage look, $40-50 IIRC and I know a few running them on anything from the 40s thru the 70s.

I suspect by the 70s Starcraft was buying nav lights in bulk and installing them at the factory. In the 50s, dealers rigged the boats, so some got XYZ brand lights, others got ZYX brand, whatever the dealer had on hand or that the buyer specified..

Specifically what trim?
