how can i check if my trigger switch is woking not getting spark to plugs the coil is good

If the coil sparks 6 times per revolution. the trigger is likely good. Clean the distributor cap, inspect the carbon electrode and the plug wires. Do not try to remove the rotor, as they do not come off.
