Hello I am kinda new to posting in this forum so try to be as accurate as possible. The model number for this motor is 40EL73D with remote start and fully charged battery. I removed the cylinder head and found what looked to be "sand" in the lower cylinder and after some cleaning got everything moving again. I replaced the gasket. After pulling the flywheel I got good spark but still would not start so I got the rebuild kit for the carb got that cleaned up and still nothing. After looking at the manual a little more I suspected the fuel pump so I replaced that too. No luck. Three weeks later when I tried to do a compression test it was frozen up again
My question is this motor worth trying to save I have little funds. Are the parts worth anything? Or should I be looking for a parts motor that I cant afford? Any input would be helpful. Thank you for your time.
