Not sure this is the proper place for this question but, I have a 30' 1972 reinell cuddy cabin that i am looking for a trailer for. I will need to know what the weight of it is to be sure i get the right trailer, right? it has two 225 mercs in it so i imagine that it is pretty heavy. IO have the serial nimber of the boat but am not smart enough to find the info on-line and dont have the title in hand to look that up. can anyone help me?
REN22234M75I-B3072 is the number any other info i can get will be much appreciated

Re: 1972 Reinell Weight

cuddy or cruiser? what is the beam? have a picture?

I'm starting with 10,000lbs -15,000 lbs

the 28' long (33' loa) 10.5' beam cruiser pictured in my sig is very close to 10,000 lbs dry and likely just over 10k full of fuel and assorted stuff onboard.

So it measures 10.5' at the beam and is listed as 29.5' long (still can't find the pink slip) I would imagine that it will take a permit to move it on a public highway?

legally yes... i trailer mine all the time without including a few 1000 mile trips BUT it isn't legal

permits are not required for (MOST) county roads or city streets however... state routes do require them (check with your state for details) and check local ordinances for city movements... I have never encountered a city requiring a permit but it may be a possibility (?)
