The wires in the stator are shot. It is only a 2 wire stator. The motor has electric and manual start. Should I replace the stator with another 2 wire or upgrade to the 4 wire and add a rectifier? I had to buy a wiring harness already and it came with extra for the charging. Would that be a good idea or no?

Does anyone have any thoughts or experience with this?

No experience with the 402 but if its feasible, and thats what you want, why not? It was an option, and shouldn't be to difficult.
