I have a 1972(from what I have found) Shark 1600 I/O 4cyl, Merc cruiser. It's all original,Blue on white outside, blue interior, the top of the seats are starting to show cracks, but not really bad, it still has the original low bimi cover, including the one that covers the hole below the walk through windsheild. put a starter on it,an few more things and new accelerator pump in carb. Man It Puurrsss. I'm gonna try it out on the water 2moro. It even has the date coded 10/30/72 tilt trailer.

I'm new to this page, but figured you guys know a lot more than me, about This boat, I'm amazed at how well this boat has been preserved, It's near perfect. (needs some buffing) but what a find. Not sure if I wanna sell or keep. I will try to post some pics when I get it cleaned up. Just wondering?

My name is David. Thanks!

Depends on the condition of the transom/deck/stringers, but I would guess between $400-1,500 depending on how solid it is

Everything on this boat is Very solid, I even did some polishing on the paint, and it shines like New!!! all gauges work, I think the original interior will even clean up very good.
Thanks for your post, I really thought this boat would bring more. I have had a lot of different boats, an they ranged from $1500 to $4200. some a lot nicer, some not, but this being an all original survivor, With the inboard motor, would bring a bit better than that, but oh well, just asking around!!!!!

Unfortunatly, Tri Hulls are not popular anymore, so they will always reflect a lower price than a comparable year/style/length/ optioned V/single hull

^^^^ yeah, much as I like the old glass boats ... they're not worth too much. Under $2,500 most likely ... and that's if it's in showroom type condition.

I have the outboard version of this boat.. Well.. for the next few days anyways.. I bought it for the outboard. Came with a running 1978 merc 115 on it.

Your not gonna like what I paid for it.

200 bucks.

Interior is very nice, good seats all the way around solid floor. It was basically a water ready boat.

It sat on the dealers lot for 4 years before I finely said if you sell me the motor, I'll get rid of the boat.

I had it out on the lake before pulling the motor. It was a slug and did not handle all that great. It was a bit under powered. I think it was rated for a 150 so that might have been part of it. Mine had no canvas with it but it was garage kept. The other issue was it was the 70's drab (pea) green.

A good runner this time of year 750-1200... winterize it and sit on it till spring and you'll maybe get a few 100 more.
