Hey all,
Got this outboard dead on arrival. its a 1972 100hp electric shift. For some reason there is no fire. It has a new coil, spark plugs and a well charged battery. any suggestions would be great. Thanks CG

Get a manual?

How you supposed to know how to fix it? Or what's wrong with it.

You have to check it on the engine.
There is a series of tests, step by step, that should be in your manual, if the tests are not in your manual, you need to get the OEM manual.

you have to have the powerpack on to test it... switch ignition coil wires around on the powerpack and switch the spark plug leads around and see if the problem follows an ignition coil...if it doesnt, then its a probably a bad powerpack. after that test you can switch around sensor leads to the powerpack.
