1972 Johnson Hydo-electrical lower unit

I'm trying to remove the lower unit on my 50hp Johnson. I have removed all the bolts on the bottom of the lower unit, but will not drop. I have been reading some info here on the forum that says there is usually a bolt or pin under the bottum carburator but there is nothing on this moter. Also I have heard you need to rmove the shifting linkage although I don't see how that would work on this moter since it is not mechanical. Please help.

Ah aaaaaH D Downey, ya posted this in the wrong forum. This is the inboard/outboard forum. Ya need to post your question in the Johnson/'Rude forum.

There are lotsa people over there who can help ya. We here, are OB illiterate.

Maybe one of the Mod Angels will take mercy on ya and move this post to the right place.
