Just bought a 1972 johnson 40hp pull start. It had been sitting for a while and the threads on the crank were messed up so i fixed the crank, replaced the plugs, cleaned the carb, sanded the points, bought some new gas...and after it not starting up i looked for a problem and found that i wasn't getting any spark on either of the cyclinders. This is a 2 cylinder 2-stroke with a magneto.. any suggestions would be great!
