Suggestions of where one might acquire the coupling the connects the upper shift rod to the lower shift rod. Upper rod is 5/16" thread and lower rod appears to be 1/4" left-handed threads. Model is 357HB Serial 1725
Ohhh! That's a difficult one. Common and simple part out of production. However, it is the same part for the 35, 45, 55 Chryslers and the early 40 and 50 Force engines. If you can find a junker close by, try one of those or if you must buy new, try franzmarine@aol.com
