1972 20' Fiber-Craft resto

Just almost finished this project. Wish I knew about this forum when I started, I would have taken pic's along the way and gotton much needed advicee here. Anyway I'm pretty proud of this resto. Started with nearly a bare hull. Worked my way up from new stringers to floor, to wiring, controls, made all the dash's, aluminum mounting plates, added troll motor and controls. Well everything you can see and lots you can't see anymore. The whole project was $4000 not including troll motor, that was a gift from my son.

Is that a rubber product on the floor? The flooring looks like it would get very warm on a hot day. The boat looks very nice, and the dash, seats and such all look awesome.

Thank you. The flooring in the back is a piece of vinly garage floor cover I got at Menards. Was 7 1/2' X 16' the rest is on my garage floor. I also used it under the tiller gas tank and the bottom of storage compartments. It's just there to protect the carpet from salmon blood and fish slime. Couple of my friends use truck bed mats for the same purpose, this is lighter in weight. I have a washdown pump installed so I can wash the crap into the bilge and pump it overboard. It's easily removable. and will not be there when doing something besides fishing. I will also lift it up so the carpet and floor can dry underneath after fishing. Very non-slip too. Probably will get warm, but it's not as dark as the pictures show.
