Hello all, I have a 72 100hp johnson with hydroelectric shift. The shift switch in the controls has gone bad and is broken. Does anyone know where i can come by a used or new one? I have been online all day and no luck although I did find one for $350:facepalm::facepalm: at a salvage yard.. "OUCH" any and all help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.....

The part you are looking for should be 385253 switch and cable. According to the Bombardier dealer network system, there are a number of new (original) parts still in stock at a few US Bombardier dealers. This particular dealer has 3 of them on hand: US BOATWORKS INC, 930 OSAGE AVE., KANSAS CITY, KS, 66105-1850. Phone: (913) 342-0011 email: usbw1@cs.com 3 pcs in stock: 0385253

Here's a pic of the part I have.. It's a Pollak brand switch. I think I bought it when I was playing around with my old hydro-electric and decided to buy a newer motor w/ manual shift before I installed it. Let me know what the best price you're able to find and I'll make you a great deal..

I'm also looking for that same switch for a 1972 65 hp johnson model 65esl-72s (part #385253-NH-05) and would be interested in purchasing if anyone has one.
