Last 2 trips to lake, after about 4 hours and 2 moves to different fishing spots, the engine failed to turnover. Trying to start it we could smell gasoline, but would not start. The first time it started after a series of attempted starts and letting it set between tries. The 2nd time we tried for over 1.5 hours, with no success, and had to be towed back to the dock.
The next day we inspected the spark plugs, they were in good condition but had the smell of gasoline on them. We also did a quick check for spark from them, and they all had a spark.
We also check the fuel flow from the fuel pump, which appeared to be good. During this test, the engine started from the fumes remaining in the cylinders, and we quickly shut it down.
