1971 evinrude 60hp

I've got this old motor that has sat for about a year and a half, it used to run great when I used it last, now I'm getting no spark. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can start looking to find the problem. I've cleaned and regapped the points already, still no spark. I've also been told that this is an odd one because it has 3 cylinders but only 2 points. <br />About 5 years ago it got a new amplifier (if this makes any difference)<br /><br />Thanks

check the magnets they may be rusty and need cleaning and the amplifier could be bad along with the coil.
