1971 50 HP Evinrude Selectric Shift.

Model # 50173<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Won't go to reverse. Neutral and forward are fine. Any suggestions?<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> Is the Selectric Shift problematic by nature?

w2much, I couldn't say one way or another if they were prone to problems. Joe Reeves and MCM<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> Great refferral. Tested as suggested, easy as 1 2 3 . Just needed a bit of WD 40 on the reverse button on the control box. Never would have figured it out with out the help. Well it saved a heck of a lot of time anyway.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Thanks Again
