Confused.

Ok cant seem to find the answer so I will ask this.

Does the UP (top) button on the 3 button panel supposed to do anything?

If I press both the middle and up button the motor runs.

If I press the IN button (bottom one) the motor runs in the opposite direction.

If I only press the UP/OUT (middle button) I get nothing, unless I bypass the trim limit switch.

Have a brand new motor. Has one soleniod.

Also how to I "bleed" this system?

Thanks,

That's correct, you set the trim limit switch while underway to stop motor from tilting too far - the middle button goes from full in to limit setting.Make sure that tilt pin is in lowest hole.

So the UP button when pressed by it self nothing should run/move. Only when used with the UP/OUT button...

Thanks for the bleeding directions, Merc 850

Delta, Pushing middle button trims motor up to when trim limit switch open. You then need to push middle and top buttons together to tilt motor. Sounds like you PTT is working properly.

I think it is but maybe the trim limit switch is flaky, might just bypass it. Now just need to wait on some o-rings and fill and bleed system.

Thanks All!
