1970 Starcraft Super Sport 16 to Walleye Fisherman???

Hello all, I have an opportunity to purchase a 1970 Starcraft SuperSport.... I'm looking to turn this into a Walleye boat... Having more time than money I'm interested in gutting the whole interior down to the hull... Doing any necessary repairs to rivets, seams and transom. Then rebuilding with raised casting decks with chairs forward and aft, covering the floor and decks with vinyl and all other services in carpet... and reinstalling the windshield. I also would like to include a live well forward with storage for trolling battery and misc.
I would appreciate any info you could give me about such a project.....
Has anyone on here attempted this?

There are scores of SS rebuilds into fishing machines here and in the SC section of the forum. Not sure about putting a livewell in the bow with a couple of deep cycle batteries, there isn't that much room and it's a bunch of weight.

My Buddy and I took on a Starcraft project boat before finding iBoats, and you are in better shape for it! Post pictures if you can, most folks can spot trouble areas quickly. I have found there are no shortages of modifications that people have made!
